Beavercreek

beavercreekGreene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and manages forty-nine family units in the City of Beavercreek. Family units are dispersed throughout the city. 

There are 15 two-bedroom homes, 32 three-bedroom homes and 2 four-bedroom homes. Most of the homes in Beavercreek were purchased and rehabilitated. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or they may select a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

There are 32 two-bedroom homes, 36 three-bedroom homes and 4 four-bedroom homes. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or they may select a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes located in Xenia are close to many major retailers. Central State and Wilberforce Universities and the Greene County Career Center are located just outside of the city of Xenia. Xenia offers a library, food pantry, bike path and many parks and activities such as the Xenia Old Fashion Days Festival, for its residents. Xenia is the hub for most of the social services available to Greene County residents. Job and Family Services is located in Xenia and provides a wide variety of programs and services to assist individuals with becoming self-sufficient.

Yellow Springs

Yellow Springs Village Greene

yellow-springs-vgGreene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and operates a Section 8 New Construction, 17-unit multi-family development in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Village Greene is composed of five (5) two-bedroom units, ten (10) three-bedroom units and two(2) four-bedroom units.

Fifteen of these units are nestled in a quiet country setting across from the bike path. These units are also adjacent to the bike path and Glen Helen, which is a nature preserve. Each unit has a stove, refrigerator, storage shed and washer dryer hook-up. The complex also offers a playground area for children of all ages. The additional two units are located within a few blocks of downtown Yellow Springs. These units also come with a stove, refrigerator, storage shed and washer dryer hook-up.

Individuals interested in this program should apply at GMHA and specify that they are interested in the Yellow Springs Village Greene Program on their application. References and background checks will be completed on all potential residents.
